Ice… we are all familiar with it.
Especially these last couple of months where it feels like the ice is growing inside your bones. Ice has historically been visualized as a harmful feat, something that disrupts the system and can eventually kill you if not compensated with heat. And even though ice and the cold can be unfriendly, they aren’t necessarily evil. In fact, the cold can be used as a medium to stimulate especially impressive physical and mental growth. This month we look towards the ice, not only for its obviously cold design but also for how we can use it to manipulate our bodies and minds into developmental cycles in our everyday habits. This month we do not fear the pain ice can bring, but we learn to embrace it.
